Wichita Pipe Organ Encounter 2023: June 25-30
(for young organists/pianists ages 13-18)
- POE is now less than 6 months away! Our POE brochure and publicity has been sent to every chapter and member in both our North Central Region and the Southwest Region and remains a primary focus in 2023 as we work to find future young organists.
- The POE committee is now focused on schedule and curriculum, plans for at least 7 faculty recitals, lots and lots of student transportation, and the multitude of details that make the POE most effective and fun.
- YOU can help! Please plan to say YES! when you are asked to assist with some part of POE and plan to participate in the POE by attending recitals or other POE events. The POE belongs to AGO members as well as our guest participants. Save the dates June 25-30 on your calendar. The final recital of the POE participants on Friday, June 30 at 1:00 pm and is beyond exciting and hopeful!
