January 8 – the Wichita Chapter hosted its annual student recital and Epiphany dinner at Eastminster Presbyterian Church. Elementary through high school students of chapter members Anna Jeter, Carole Pracht, and Erin Jossie performed selections from the organ literature on the church’s 3-manual, 47-rank Visser-Rowland Organ. A reception for students, their family members and guests followed in the church social rooms. The Wichita Chapter has a long-standing tradition of January student recitals, designed to encourage the development of future organists and to give students an opportunity to perform for a supportive audience.
