Meeting the Needs of Musicians during a world-wide Pandemic

During the past several months, we have all be looking for ways to stay connected and to continue making music. The chapter has worked to provide a full program year of events, including those that are virtual and in-person.

To assist in virtual programming, the chapter has expanded its presence on social media. We now have an Instagram account (that needs events to post about!). We have created a ZOOM account to host chapter events and board meetings, and subscribed to to assist in uploading recordings by chapter members. We have also created a YouTube Channel, a place for us to post videos and host “Live” events.

We continue to work on our website, with the help of our webmaster Tyler Breneman. You will now find some new tabs and links, like one to our Virtual Programs. Here, you will be able to find programs like the October presentation that Chris Shaw gave on finding new music.

We encourage you to stay connected with the chapter by visiting our website regularly for new information about events and resources, by following us on social media, and by subscribing to our YouTube Channel!

Finally, feel free to provide information for the monthly newsletter and to forward it to people that may not be receiving our newsletter. Encourage friends and other musicians to sign up to receive our newsletter on our webpage.
