May Update

Happy May Day! It’s hard to believe that we are wrapping up our Program Year. It seems like yesterday when I was sitting down with Debbie Lynch to discuss our 2014-2015 season.

Highlights this year have included a workshop on music accessible to small pipe organs, the Holy Trinity Choir, Laura Rau in Recital, organ literature workshop, choral literature workshop, family organ tour in North Newton and Peabody, RYCO host, local scholarship auditions, Members Recital, and a Downtown Organ Tour. BUT, the best is yet to come!

Our June Pipe Organ Encounter is just around the corner. The enrollment is full and there is a wonderful slate of activities for all to enjoy. The success of our POE will be measured by our Chapter support. Be sure to read Marlene’s update below and find a way to offer your support of the many items still needed. Be sure to attend as many of the POE events as possible. This is a great opportunity to hear some great organists, on great organs, with great literature.

Tell your friends, congregations, choirs, neighbors, or anyone else that you know about all of the great events we have planned!
